Pros
Great pay and benefits. Great facilities.
Cons
As with any shift work job, the scheduling is tough. Also, Valero is a large company. So that comes with an HR department that gets too big for its own good, and more control that only creates a poor climate for operators. HRs need to understand that being an operator is one of the most difficult jobs in the world, period. And policies should be PRO operator, so they can continue at their best to continue being the money making crew that works 24/7 in all kinds of working environments they can't imagine.
