Business Outlook
Pros
Relatively stable employer with decent benifits but not great benifits. Very dedicated employees at my work location. Produce petroleum products which are in high demand.
Cons
Heavily regulated environment by the goverment. Oil companies are routinely portrayed very unfairly buy the press and politicians. Retirement benifits not as good as other oil companies. The company is not an intergrated oil company with oil reserves therefore very dependent on good refining margins. Hourly workers are Union employees which tends to stifle productivity and innovation.
