Pros

The trash valet position is part time work, and is about 2 hours per evening. We don’t work Fri or Sat, and you basically get paid to work out! I walk about 2 miles per evening, climb over 20 flights of stairs. This is the type of job you have to make work for situation, as it is only a couple hours per evening. Couple this with a daytime job and it works out great. Or even a fulltime student who just wants a little extra spending money.

Cons

That’s a matter of perspective I guess. Wear and tear on your own vehicle, you’ll get sweaty and dirty sometimes, but if you don’t mind that, then it’s a win.

Pros

The company support and benefits are great. They do try and train you but you're on your own since it's a remote job. You need to be a self starter and ok working alone.

Cons

The product is not worth it. You have to rely on bad part time employees to do a quality job which is picking up trash. It's hard to find someone to take that job who could work somewhere else for the same pay. You are always fixing problems but the solution isn't good enough all you can do is replace or retrain the valets. When residents screw up it's still our fault. The peoe who oversee operations are stretched thin and can't fix anything. I've also been through 3 mass firings in 2 years. The company is always letting people go to cut costs.
