Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your experience working as a Service Valet with Valet Living. You point out some really good positives that others have mentioned as well which is great to see. Related to your comment on pay, we consistently evaluate the pay rate for our Service Valet position to ensure we remain competitive in each of the markets we serve. We recognize the additional cost associated with using your own truck (e.g. gas) and because of this will pay a higher hourly rate for those associates that use their own truck for collection to help offset some of these costs. Our Service Valet's have a challenging job and we are extremely appreciative to you for all that you do. Thanks again for posting this review.

Pros

The company support and benefits are great. They do try and train you but you're on your own since it's a remote job. You need to be a self starter and ok working alone.

Cons

The product is not worth it. You have to rely on bad part time employees to do a quality job which is picking up trash. It's hard to find someone to take that job who could work somewhere else for the same pay. You are always fixing problems but the solution isn't good enough all you can do is replace or retrain the valets. When residents screw up it's still our fault. The peoe who oversee operations are stretched thin and can't fix anything. I've also been through 3 mass firings in 2 years. The company is always letting people go to cut costs.
