Pros

Amazing coworkers, good compensation, amazing potential

Cons

One supervisor didn't like me, for an unknown reason. I worked for VMC for 8 years, starting in the Float Pool, worked as a PRR, a Team Lead and then the Operations Coordinator for the Patient Resource Center. I loved my job - I truly lived for my job. I came in early, I stayed late, I worked to create an environment in a call center where people wanted to come to work, and where we all looked out for each other. In 2021 I was sexually assaulted in the parking lot during my shift one day. My work slipped over the next 2 days and I went to my boss to ask if I could step down; instead I was let go. I was never given a chance, I was told because ONE supervisor didn't like me and wouldn't risk the chance of having to interact with me that I was being let go instead. I didn't get to explain what happened, I was escorted out of the building and came back in before they opened a couple days later to clean out my desk. My coworkers were told I chose to leave.

Pros

My coworkers have been great to work with, but I can't say the same thing for my experience with Valley Medical Center.

Cons

You wouldn't want to work here. Terrible benefits, awful salary, huge workloads, unsustainable work-life balance. Managers are hostile towards employees, and leadership couldn't care less about your well-being. There are better options out there.
