Thanks for taking the time to review your experience with Vangst on Glassdoor. The feedback matters to us and we know it takes time to write; we appreciate that you shared yours with us. While we’re glad to hear that our office culture held value for you, we are sorry to hear about the areas where you feel Vangst could have improved. Vangst prides ourselves on our leadership and the investment they make in our team daily, as we pride ourselves on our management team - most of whom joined Vangst bringing many years of management and leadership experience with them. As a unit, Vangst’s team leaders focus on living our our 3-Year vision statement and adhering to our formal goal-setting framework, both of which which are regularly shared and accessible at any time to all members of the company. Success and growth are certainly things we value as a company, but we value when we achieve these wins as a collective team. We work very hard and encourage excellence but celebrate and learn from failures when they inevitably come our way; we pride ourselves in being clear about our expectations when we interview new candidates who are interested in joining the team. If you want to talk more about your experience at Vangst with our People Team, we’d love to get in touch. Please feel free to reach out any time to continue the conversation. -Karson p.p. Pros

Joining Vangst through an acquisition last year has been one of the most exciting and rewarding transitions of my career. From the start, the integration process was smooth, supportive, and intentional. Over the past year, we’ve seen incredible growth — not just in revenue and client base, but in our internal development as a team. We've expanded into new markets, launched new service offerings, and built out a stronger infrastructure that allows us to serve our partners and candidates more effectively than ever before. The pace of growth has been fast, but with it has come so much opportunity. The best part of working here, without question, is the people. This team is made up of passionate, driven, and genuinely kind individuals who care deeply about their work and about each other. There’s a strong sense of purpose and collaboration that makes every challenge feel worth it — and every win feel like a team effort.

Cons

It’s that with so much opportunity, it’s hard to say no! The energy here is contagious, and it’s easy to find yourself raising your hand for more — but that’s also what makes it such an exciting place to grow.

Pros

Paychecks were on time that’s it.

Cons

I had a very negative experience with Vangst Staffing under the management of Dan Hutchinson. The work environment is plagued by favoritism and discriminatory practices, and if you don’t “suck up” to certain supervisors, you risk being ostracized. On top of that, I was underpaid for my work. When I reported the issue, I was finally paid what I was owed—but shortly after, I was terminated with no reason at all. This shows a clear lack of fairness, integrity, and accountability. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with Vangst to be aware of these issues.
