Pros
Clock in/Clock out type of job Under 40 hours Benefits Decent entry into corporate environment Does not layoff employees in good standing
Cons
Please do a Google search for "Vanguard employee lawsuits" before you consider working here as a minority.. Politics - if a manager or leader does not like you it's over Retaliation from senior leaders and managers You will be heavily Micromanaged when leaders decide to pick on you Passive aggressiveness during meetings Rude and unprofessional behavior Managers and leaders pretend to be inclusive when everyone is watching - CRINGE High anxiety for Imaginary deadlines High school clique kind of vibe within certain teams Like many corporate offices, unnecessary in office requirement in the guise of "collaboration" Basically if anybody does anything to you that can be perceived as negative, do not hesitate to report it to HR and any other government bodies ASAP, because as soon as they can get you on a PIP, give you a negative review, etc.. they will do it
