Pros

- Hybrid Work - Benefits - Flexibility - Good Office Spaces - Office activities

Cons

- Lack of transparency - Lack of direction - Disorganized and out of touch management - Treats AI development as a quick ticket to release complex features while actively ignoring short term grievances and long term issues - You can be praised for your hard work one day and laid off the next. QA had gone above and beyond to close up testing tickets for various features, they had been recognized for this work and yet they were let go in recent layoffs - Employees that were promoted to lead roles, quickly lost any say so in project decisions as others were appointed to make those decisions. - No separation of management and dev roles. Managers and higher ups suddenly making and committing code changes with AI tools that brought more problems than solutions. - Constant layoffs. Good talent keeps leaving the company

Pros

The older version of the company (Maxar) was a pretty solid mission.

Cons

Where to begin? Over my time at Maxar (then the "rebrand" to Vantor,) I watched this company completely devolve. Owned by private equity, this company is a world class example of a reprehensible, integrity lacking dumpster fire that will tout themselves as being a great place to work, pro veteran, bla bla bla...then FLAGRANTLT, REPEATEDLY, AND UNAPOLOGETICALLY: -Lie, -Manipulate, -Promote questionable individuals who negatively impact security, and actively discriminate, take advantage of, and then kick to the curb multiple disabled veterans. The most pathetic part is that the one department you would hope would have integrity routinely, consistently, as well as being well documented, Cybersecurity- had ZERO INTEGRITY. ZERO LEADERSHIP, AND ACTIVELY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST MULTIPLE VETERANS. Besides creating the most toxic environment possible, and supported by a complete whiny, tantrum throwing CEO who is just responsible for appeasing the private equity sleazebags who care about nothing and nobody other than their bottom line, (who then actively hurt it by routinely letting documented high performers go so they can rinse and repeat by cutting costs, even when they are trying to screw over disabled veterans.

Your feedback has been noted, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective from your time with the organization. We’re sorry to hear your experience shifted over time, particularly during a period of organizational transition. Vantor has deep respect for the service and contributions of veterans, and we remain committed to fostering a workplace grounded in professionalism, inclusion, and respect. Discrimination of any kind is not tolerated and does not reflect Vantor’s values. We’ve captured your feedback regarding leadership, communication, and employee experience, as these are important topics to us. As the company continues to evolve, we remain focused on transparency through Town Halls and leadership forums. We wish you the best in your next chapter.
