Pros

Great feedback and support from managers and encouragement to enter new areas of the company for growth. Veeva is poised for success and is well positioned for growth with it's many new projects and it is constantly innovating.

Cons

-The benefits are minimal and there is no 401K matching plan. -Base salaries are low and are believed to be compensated with bonuses. -The problem with the bonus structure is that it is not at all tied to performance. Instead it is tied to the role you are assigned on the project, and the number of hours negotiated for you to work with the client. Consultants have little to no say around what role they are assigned and often times they can only bill hours based on what was negotiated, not the actual number of hours worked.

Pros

Large presence in the industry and good-hearted, intelligent, and well-meaning people work there. Stable company, not going to be purchased by private equity and endure large layoffs

Cons

part of their motto is "do the right thing" but that's not applied when it comes to salaries or work-life balance. working weekends and well past normal hours seems to be a regular thing that most people are doing. a manager's solution to my issue of having more work than was feasible to complete was just to work longer days. "Veeva Speed" is a sugarcoated phrase everyone uses to indicate being overworked and initial training is like drinking from a fire hose; this company makes enough money to hire the correct amount of people to do the work and pay them fairly.
