Pros
Remote work, steady pay, central office
Cons
Crossix is a joke. I've never worked somewhere where everyone is so checked out. Every conversation is about who's interviewing for other jobs, who's leaving next, or what reorg is coming. Nobody actually believes anything is going to get better anymore. Every few months we're told a new reorg/structure is going to fix everything and it obviously never does. We just get new managers, new priorities, and somehow even more work.
The culture is all blame. People are terrified of making mistakes because leadership remembers every little thing you do wrong but forgets everything you do right. Instead of solving problems, everyone is just trying not to get blamed for them. Expectations are set too high because you are expected to keep taking on more work, more internal projects, more clients, and somehow still be told you need to "step up" if you want to grow.
Career development is not encouraged and it's only something recruiters tell you during interviews. People spend years working toward promotions just for the goalposts to move (good bye "Supervisor" title). You are told explicitly not to advocate for yourself in promotion conversations because the decision is predetermined.
