Pros

Work from home Paid co-working

Cons

It's work from home on paper but you get overworked and feel exhausted and burnt out by the end of the day Micro management at it's peak. You are questioned every single day on the updates and twice a day on the completion of the work You are completely manipulated by the HR before joining the company on the work life balance, great work culture and a healthy team. Never believe them Higher management never care about the employee feedback They keep changing the processes every few sprints and introduce unnecessary complexities to the employees busy instead of reducing the manual work Silly works like jira updates are given more weightage than the actual work Managers here with very little common sense can make your life hell on a daily basis If any concern is raised manager successfully manipulates you to let you accept that it's you who is doing it wrong Worst of all, managers here have a tendency to make personal comments and it gets overlooked You suffer from panic attacks and feel extremely burnt out by the end of the day Managers call you at odd hours sometimes even at 9pm and 10pm to get information on some silly things Your work hours will be 9-10pm Daily triage on the builds that gets replaced on a daily basis feels like a waste of time No real learning as you end up doing the same thing on a daily basis You will be extremely blamed and scolded by the managers on daily basis Managers threaten you for loss of hike and loss of promotions even for the small tasks like updating jira tickets They make you feel very bad with harsh words and brings down your confidence Managers are all thriving supporting each other and sabotaging the mental peace and enthusiasm of the employees The systems, rules and processes designed are so old school and they're willing to modernize any of their methodologies You are never valued as an employee or a person Managers here play with your personal issues and offer no support in times of crisis Don't ever make a descision of joining the company Better look for something else that treats employees fairly

Pros

The role involves a lot of repetitive tasks. Depending on your personality, that either makes the job easier over time as you become more efficient, or it gradually becomes frustrating. The upside is that once you learn the role, it can serve as a strong stepping stone to move into other positions within the company.

Cons

It's a repetitive, call-center type role. Once you're in it, there isn't much room to grow within the department. Most people either stay and plateau or eventually move to another department before the repetition and workload lead to burnout.

Pros

Large presence in the industry and good-hearted, intelligent, and well-meaning people work there. Stable company, not going to be purchased by private equity and endure large layoffs

Cons

part of their motto is "do the right thing" but that's not applied when it comes to salaries or work-life balance. working weekends and well past normal hours seems to be a regular thing that most people are doing. a manager's solution to my issue of having more work than was feasible to complete was just to work longer days. "Veeva Speed" is a sugarcoated phrase everyone uses to indicate being overworked and initial training is like drinking from a fire hose; this company makes enough money to hire the correct amount of people to do the work and pay them fairly.
