Pros

I cannot think of any. Literally none.

Cons

-BCBAs are poorly trained. -RBTs are poorly trained. -Programs only need to be updated once every 6 months, which is utterly pathetic. -BCBAs are hardly supervised. -Scheduling is an unprofessional disaster, as others have mentioned. -VB has a very laissez faire, unsystematic approach to programming, which is simply not how ABA works.

We take these thoughts very seriously, so thank you for sharing them. While formal programming reports to insurance are required on a 6-month basis, rest assured that BCBAs at Verbal Beginnings are continuously monitoring and updating programming as needed for clients. Thanks to feedback like yours regarding training for staff, we created a Clinical Coordinator role to provide BCBA oversight. We strive to provide a supportive, positive environment for staff so that they can focus on clients first and foremost, and through employee feedback are best able to see areas for continued improvement. Regards, Nick Chappell, co-CEO
