      Pros

      Highly supportive and collaborative culture that helps bring out the best in the driven people that work within it.

      Cons

      Verily is still finding it's feet as an offspring of Alphabet - this manifests in some excess bureaucracy. Work life balance is a bit askew, but many new people are being onboarded to improve that situation.

      Most of the team was very smart, and much of the work was very interesting.

      Cons

      Chaotic team structure, lots of red tape, confusing project ownership, too many overlapping people on some projects, while not enough for others.
