As it relates to changes related to Project Flywheel (our separation from Google platforms and systems), Verily is on track for this systems separation and we have shared routine and transparent communications about the details and the process - including multiple "deep dive" employee sessions walking through details of what's to come. We made a commitment to share information with employees as soon as decisions are made, which we’ve done across multiple channels over the past two+ years so there should be no surprises to employees about why we are separating (to benefit Verily and our business), what’s happening or what’s to come. We are also working closely with our recruiters to ensure their conversations with candidates reflect all of the information and decisions, as well as to outline what additional changes are planned.
With respect to organizational changes, including hires or restructures, we prepare full and transparent communications plans to ensure teams are aware. For example, in the product organization’s most recent changes, we communicated within the product organization, across teams to functional partners, and then broadly to the entire company on Slack and in the recent town hall. And we will continue to operate in this way with transparency for any future changes.
