Pros

Some coworkers are nice others not so much

Cons

If you plan on joining this company watch out. Manager set expectations for you but don’t practice what they preach. The preach learning, caring, and results all day long. However, they do not care about you and if they don’t like you will make it their mission to get you fired. They are very high school and have cliques. If you’re not in the in crowd you will be ousted. They claim to care and want to help but they don’t. Do not be fooled. If you aren’t a people pleaser and stick up for yourself they will make life harder on you. They treat you like a stooge rather than a colleague and will pass their work off on you. My manager was a huge people pleaser and did everything in her power to make sure other looked bad and would throw people under the bus at the drop of a hat. She would not fight for you and would not provide any real help whatsoever.

Pros

I have been a product manager at several companies, and it is genuinely one of the best environments I have worked in. Verisk provides a unique opportunity to work closely with customers, engineering, design, and leadership to solve meaningful problems and deliver products that create business value. Product managers are trusted to help shape strategy and influence key decisions. Teams collaborate effectively, and there is a shared commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for customers. Leadership is approachable and receptive to new ideas, creating an environment where innovation is encouraged.

Cons

Navigating insurance regulatory requirements and customer compliance can occasionally slow feature development and release timelines.
