Pros

1. There are good people there. 2. The benefits are 'competitive' (and perhaps even 'great' when comparing the positions that do not require degrees) Medical, Dental, Life and Vision. Higher deductible plans with the company paying a majority of the premiums. 3. The PTO WAS outstanding (5 weeks a year out of the gate accruing up to 7 weeks after 7 years), but that has been reduced to just 'competitive' now for those not grandfathered into the old PTO accrual schedule. 4. Tuition reimbursement up to $2000 a year 5. Bus/Trax/Frontrunner discounted passes 6. Good work/life balance. I never felt obligated to put in overtime

Cons

1. Ownership does not allow for the people they pay to make informed decisions to make those decisions. Instead hubris and ego drive reactionary, snap decision-making. 2. Snap decision-making relating to overall direction of the company cause it to flounder in place. This apparent stagnation upsets ownership (the ones who's decision making have caused it), so they blame the staff for not working hard/fast/smart enough, causing both frustration and rifts in trust between ownership and staff. 3. Ownership's ego is once again apparent in the way they treat employees as if they can be replaced at any given moment. One would think that after all the negative reviews on this and other employment sites had slowed interest in posted jobs to a mere trickle, that this attitude would perhaps change, but it didn't. Employees were still 'motivated' with threats of their jobs regularly. 4. It seemed a regular occurrence (every 3 months or so) that you would come into work to find a co-worker or manager had been told they no longer had a job. This appeared to correlate greatly to when someone had been overly verbose about disagreeing with a direction or decisions made by ownership. It almost felt like a demonstration for those who might actually be getting comfortable in their jobs.

Pros

In my department, we had very flexible schedules and were not terribly micromanaged. You get lots of PTO and holidays, and the benefits package is pretty good.

Cons

Lack of transparency, and downright lies from upper management. The pay is severely lacking for the work you do if you aren't in a role that gives incentive bonus. All levels of management are secretive and will stab you in the back if it will benefit them. There is not much team development or work culture with almost everyone working remotely.
