After 18 years in (IT and the business side) I know their systems and processes well. The complexity involved in simply fulfilling a single customer order will amaze you, and there is often frustration trying to find help. Over the past few years, the majority of top talent has been forced out by management. Finding the people who know how to help or get help could be your toughest battle. IT management seems to run the company since the merger.
