Pros

PAY IS VERY GOOD, Benefits are great (health insurance, paid time off, ect), the work itself is pretty easy (if you like sales), you can relocate at anytime, you get to sleep in almost everyday (its retail so you typically start late in the morning).

Cons

You work late almost every day (don't expect to get off when scheduled), if you need an evening (or day) off you have to let management know like 4 weeks in advance, upper and lower management love to micromanage, recently they put 3/4 our staff "on 6 month review" for failing to sell enough smart car devices (hum) and threatening corrective action if no improvement is shown in numbers. (thankfully I was one that wasn't put on review.) The company just announced lay offs both in their stores and call centers. Thankfully my job is one NOT affected by the lay offs. You constantly deal with angry customers, and once in a while a customer will physically threaten you.

Pros

Compensation is competitive but you will work very hard for it. Culture is excellent and exhibited and practiced from the top down. Benefits are excellent and cost reasonable. 401k match and profit sharing. Lots of training and professional development opportunities. Can advance if you're willing to relocate.

Cons

Company is trying to transform into what it wants to be beyond a wireless carrier (cloud?, security?, telematics?, wholesaler?, etc) and is struggling with a vision, resources, and org structure to make it a reality. Several re-organizations over last few years so job security has frequently been a question. Often delayed response to competitors caused by management's concern that acting would result in not meeting Wall Street expectations. Not the "happiest" place to work because no result is ever good enough and successes aren't celebrated because the focus is always on the next weekly/monthly/quarterly goal.
