Pros

- People & Culture: The thing that stood out to me the most the moment I walked in for the interview was the energy of the team. People are super passionate about what they do, and the excitement is contagious. Also, outside of being smart, people there are friendly and genuinely want to see you succeed - ask for help and you'll get it (from any team there). - Product & Development: There's a huge market for an industry-leading product, with a super talented eng team integrating new advancements all the time. Lots of untapped potential. - The Mission: They make the world safer, and lives have literally been saved. At the end of the day, they're a company I feel proud to work for and can sleep at night knowing I'm working on something good. - Perks & Lots of little things that make life convenient: Free catered lunches and dinners with Caviar, endless snacks and drinks, located in a nice downtown area of San Mateo right next to the Caltrain station.

Cons

- It's entirely up to you if you want to work long hours, but most of our team does because there's a lot of work that needs to get done and time flies by pretty quick. You need to love what you do. - Diversity could be improved. IMO not enough balance and representation on the female side at the moment though they are hiring for it.

Pros

Some of the people are kind, intelligent, and very thoughtful, which made the rest manageable when it unbearable Fancy perks: food, coffee bar

Cons

This is the worst company I have ever worked for. Inexperienced leadership and middle management creates an air of stress, anxiety, and frustration across all areas of the workplace. People often snap at each other, burn out, and successes are rarely recognized or celebrated. There is no sense of team unity. I even witnessed a monkey being brought into the office to be posed for photos during an end of quarter celebration. There is little flexibility for people not being in-office due to family/outside issues. There are too many meetings with no clear organization or purpose, and messages/emails are often sent late into the night, on holidays, and on weekends. I wish someone had warned me not to work here before I started, it was some of the worst days of my life.
