Pros
I have been working at VertMarkets for almost 4 years. I have been in the publishing industry for almost 30 years and I can honestly say VertMarkets is the best company that I have worked for. Why you may ask? The answer is simple: 'The people'. My coworkers (from the CEO down) are people of impeccable character, hardworking and always willing to lend a hand to help a fellow employee when needed. I was brought into the company 4 years ago to start a new initiative. Even though it was 'uncharted waters' , I was given all the support and encouragement possible. That fact not only helped me to grow as an employee, but also as a person. Specifically, I have met many people at my other companies who say they want to help.... but here at VertMarkets... they actually do! While this company is not the largest I have ever worked for, in fact it is the smallest, they are innovators and are doing many things for their readers and advertisers that the bigger companies are not. I am proud to call VertMarkets my 'work home' and I recommend it enthusiastically. If you have an opportunity to join the team do it! You will not regret it.
Cons
Due to being in four separate offices at time communication can be an issue. However; the company has recently taken steps to improve their communication across all the offices.
