Pros
VertMarkets is a company that I was a client of, and now I am a full-time employee. Both experiences were, and have been, exceptional in every way. As a part of the VertMarkets team, I quickly learned that you are given plenty of autonomy to make your position your own, but results are expected. However, that level of accountability is backed by a foundation of support that I have not experienced in my 17 year career. Great compensation and benefits, plus the atmosphere is friendly and professional. Most of my colleagues have been here for five or more years, which is a huge confidence builder. What I find most impressive, however, is the consistency of the work culture and team-driven nature of the company. I work out of the Horsham, PA office and most of my team is in Erie, PA. Even with our HQ residing at the opposite end of the state, the business behaviors and atmosphere remain the same. All dedicated, hard-working people looking to succeed.
Cons
Need to integrate divisions a little more closely, which is happening as I write this. A little far from my home, but that's not anyone's fault. HVAC could use an upgrade.
