Pros

Good place to thicken your skin, and pay is average

Cons

I was in the company for a year. Leadership is always finding something to criticize and micromanaging everything one does. Some managers are really bad at their jobs. There's probably more to add but to summarize, I would stay away from this company.

At Verve, we strive to create an environment where employees feel supported and valued, and it’s disappointing to learn that was not your experience. Your feedback about leadership and management is something we take seriously. We offer a monthly leadership training program open to all managers, covering topics such as communication, mentoring, and effective management practices. While we recognize there’s always room for growth, we remain committed to creating a workplace where employees feel empowered and respected.

Pros

The team works hard and actually enjoys working together. A lot of employees have stayed a long time because they love the culture and the team they work with. The pace is fast and you'll have real responsibility from day one, you won't just be a cog in a large product org. It's the kind of place where you can build meaningful skills, make a visible impact, and grow quickly. Unlimited time off, and employees actually use it. You also get 3 wellness days and a hybrid (3/day per week) or remote work schedule (depending on the position). Just moved to a great new office in Soho.

Cons

Things move quickly and priorities can shift, so if you prefer a more structured corporate environment it may be an adjustment. That said, the pace creates real opportunities to take on more responsibility as a PM.
