Pros

1. The team: incredibly high calibre and hard-working but also low-ego, fun people. No politics or bureaucracy, everyone is aligned on one goal: make the company grow in a sustainable way. Very humane company. 2. The company: unlike any other ridesharing company. A different business model and culture, which I believe in 100%. 3. The work: incredibly varied and interesting, with no time for BS.

Cons

Not a 9 to 5 job, so don't go there if that's what you're looking for. Work is intense, but still manageable, and you can still have a personal life. Also, it's a startup, so your compensation may not be what it would be at a big company. But your stock options may pay off big time one day!

Pros

Incredibly supportive management. Extremely healthy work environment. Company culture is top notch. Benefits are well above market average. Using PTO is encouraged, and when on PTO general duties are handled by supportive coworkers.

Cons

Extremely fast-paced environment. Real-time issues can arise, and can be stressful to resolve. Remote work can feel isolating, however, managers and coworkers are extremely easy to reach.

Pros

Most people you work with are nice, PTO is respected.

Cons

No strategy to speak of, the product is not good other than the acquisitions. Customers are treated poorly. C-suite is extremely tone deaf. Decisions come randomly from above with no bearing on what people are doing. There is no review cycle on purpose, the only people who get raises have other offers so many people are leaving. Which is a good idea because the stock price is down so all RSUs are underwater. Most teams are horribly overworked and underpaid and the one day a week lunch is getting worse.
