You get to do a lot within a short period of time (because you basically work around the clock). The product is valuable.
Cons
Working at Via was the most traumatic employment experience of my life. Disrespect from the management and the senior employees, many people are arrogant. Approach of “do and then think” rather then “think and then do” which causes working a few iterations on the same feature. Lots of drama, people argue a lot, there is often lack of coordination between product managers which has a bad reflection on developers' work. Culture is terrible, I've seen many cases involving different people, where employees hurt each others' feeling and shame in public. Management does not have respect for the employees’ personal time, you are expected to be available to do work around the clock. And there's always stress.
