Pros
The work culture is pretty intense, but it's also rewarding. In general, the work hours are sane. But during work hours, you have to stay focused and driven. The engineering work culture is fun... lots of snacks, happy hours, contests (some more fun than others). Most of the decision-making is driven by merit rather than title, which is great.
Cons
Some of the dev processes are burdensome because of audit requirements.
