Pros

Great if your salary, bad if you're hourly. Free coffee and water.

Cons

If your white you'll go up the ladder pretty quick. If your a person of color you will not go up the ladder because of too many false promise. They will keep a close eyes on you and will report you behind your back. The open door policy? Most time they close their door and turn off their light. Most managers are never in their office because they take long lunches or go home early without telling anyone. Too many useless meetings to accomplish nothing but added work. Most of the good people left already including good managers. The managers that stay are the bad one and only care about their pay. They cut bonuses for all employees but they keep the managers bonuses, not cool.

Pros

Viking Electric is a company that genuinely prioritizes its people and their long-term success. The culture is another standout. It’s supportive, welcoming, and collaborative, with leaders who are invested in creating a positive associate experience. There is a strong sense of teamwork and a shared belief in helping each other succeed. Feedback across the organization reflects a generally positive outlook and excitement about the company’s direction and growth. One of the most notable aspects is the clear commitment to associate development—there are structured career conversations, targeted development plans, and opportunities to grow skills and advance within the organization. The focus isn’t just on performance today, but on helping associates build a future career path.

Cons

As with many growing organizations, there are opportunities to continue strengthening consistency in processes and communication across locations as the company evolves. But for the right associates, there is a real opportunity to contribute, make an impact, and be part of shaping the future of the business.

Pros

Local management was pretty good. At times I didn't know who to report too but that came around.

Cons

Once corporate came on the scene they took a once great company and trashed it. Corporate never came with a solution, only problems .
