Pros
I’ve been with this company for some time now off and on and while some of the old reviews about how bad it was are accurate - it’s definitely become an incredible place to work in the last couple years. The new management team works really hard at cultivating a respectful environment that makes you feel like you don’t need to “check your life at the door” so to speak. There are some cool new initiatives to modernize the way Vision does business and they clearly make it a priority to stay relevant and customer oriented through focus groups and a policy of transparency !
Cons
There’s still some institutional ptsd from the old days that has been slow to fade amongst the long time staff but that isn’t for a lack of trying from the CEO and VPs - it’s just a legacy that needs to be overcome through trust building and rooting out people who don’t want to make things better and just don’t want to do the work but that is definitely happening.
