Pros
I can say the compensation for the position was fair. However, I don't think they really could afford the salary I requested.
Cons
The owners are out of touch with the industry needs. They are behind the times as far as technology so scheduling practices really suffer. The owners are very unprofessional and talk down to the workers. It's a little weird that their office is a living room and den in their home the owner comes down in her bedroom clothes and curlers mid morning and they have a dog that has the run of the house and office space. Because this is a home in a residential area if there is no parking there is just her driveway which only allows for a limited number of cars otherwise you have to park around the corner and walk very far. A little strange and unorthodox for a healthcare agency to say the least. During the interview I didn't even have her attention she was playing with the dog the entire time it was almost comical. They don't have many clients however if you think you have often go without care because they don't have enough caregivers so clients suffer.
