Pros
Managers and fellow employees are always willing to help. It seems like once your 90 days is up, things get a bit more lenient and you can be cross-trained in different areas.
Cons
Where to start? This warehouse has the most brutal probationary period out of any warehouse I have ever worked at. You are allowed 2 absences/tardies in the span of 90 days so if you get sick or have an emergency you're out of luck. There is no learning curve period for learning a new area. They can write you up as soon as 2 weeks into your new job. HR and upper management seem to be uncompromising. HR and upper management are also the ones who can issue write ups, not your managers who are far more understanding. There is no work/life balance and my schedule has not been what I signed up for since I first started whether it be staying 45 minutes after my shift or having to come in for mandatory overtime. During peak, we have been working 11 and a half hour days, 6 days a week. You have one day to sleep and then it's back to work. They have also begun to write employees up that have been there for a long time and consistently make their rates.
