Pros
Pay is great, you have plenty of overtime hours to work and can work as much as you want. You have no family time and the 14 on and 7 off does not include any trainings that you have beg to get.
Cons
Horrible management, they say they listen to the people in the field but when it comes down to it, its a bunch of lip service. If you question the validity of equipment and its operation then you will be fired. Safety is out the window, they preach a big game but turn a blind eye to it. There are plenty of capable employees that can and should be promoted but they continue to pull from the outside. Upon being hired the CEO stated that they promote from within, completely false. Training is essentially non existent past your initial onboarding and that's just mainly HR, it doesn't reflect what happens in the field. If you want continuing education on the many rolls they expect you to do its outside your normal rotation which brings you away from home even more. Field level supervisors blatantly steal time then rub it in the ones they supervise saying they can charge what ever they want and no one says anything. OSHA could have a field day with this company just on the hours work per employee.
