Pros

Closed on holidays and no extended hours for sales or xmas season.

Cons

They do not want individuals with brains and minds of their own! Yes people are valued. You are forced to work, sometimes 10-12.days in a row and they claim they have no control over it! BIG LIE! During xmas season a 6 day mandatory work week was instituted. They said Sunday is time and a half, but during the 6 day work week they apply the "overtime" on Sunday, so you really don't get paid more for the extra work! Women are forced to dress as if it were the year 1940! Closed toe ugly shoes only, dresses and skirts, and pantyhose always! Furthermore, if a member of management does not approve of your outfit for whatever reason you will be forced to leave or buy something else to wear! Emoyees are not required to wear name tags, yet they claim they know without a doubt who to "punish" if there is a customer complaint! It basically is whomever management wants to get rid of!

Pros

Employee discount- 20%. Can't find anything else positive!

Cons

1.Schedule is all over the place 2. Have to do truck twice a week with 0 help and just 1 person per dept. 3. Worst benefits EVER, pto given out every quarter which makes it hard to plan any time off.. you get like 20hrs every quarter... 4. Not allowed to take any unpaid time off.. 5. You get points for being late 1 minute, yes 1 minute and you get an tardee.. 6. Wannabe Micromanagers. 7. Managers hired straight out of collage with 0 work experiance who try to tell ppl with 20+ retail experiance how to do their jobs. 8. 0 communication and that is about anything.. if your co worker from your dept. Calls sick that day , you are not told but have to ask yourself when you see that they are not there.. 9. Dress code is a joke. Mr.VonMaur is stuck in the 80s.
