Pros
Pay! Pay! Pay! In one department in the store you get more then 1% commission there is alot of money to be made in that ONE department. The people I worked with were awesome! Made alot very good friends working there. The customers over all were always fair and treated me with respect. Time off is done by who was there the longest so if you held out ,turnover is very high you would soon get to pick whatever days off you wanted. Plus you are promises one weekend off a month most retailers do not offer that.
Cons
No breaks except lunch! I asked about it they replied for me to show them the law that says I get breaks. Strick tarty and absense policies. Always short staffed. other then money no thanks or positive support. tights or panty hoses everyday. They do not actually like their employees they put up with them. They put 20 yr old women in charge of a store but its really controlled in devenport by men who never sold a single thing in their lives. the men that run that place do not even know how to ring up a sale. all they do is come in 2 x a year and see how dirty we are. And make a X on the line when you get terminated. They run you and run you and slam the door on you when they are done! Do not work for this company they will make you feel worthless, stupid, and replacable and thats just the first week! Until they get out of this 1880 additude.... Making women were dresses???? Really!!! Having their employees with 7am til 5, 8am to 5 ,12pm to 9 twice a week and twice a year 5 to 5 with a 30 min break???
