Pros
Absolutely some of the best co-workers I've ever been associated with. It truly feels like family there. I think management is very good, and we have some of the best hours in retail. The store policy in working with the customer makes it really fun and because of it there is a very loyal customer base.
Cons
Not really a living wage, but that's also retail. I would like to see a progressive comission scale. 1% on the subtotal is sort of disingeniuous. Also there are those of us without a formal degree that have years of sales and customer service experience that will never move beyond DM. That seems like a waste of some very talented people that actually like working retail.
