Pros
There is nothing good to say about this company!
Cons
Fact: Not EEO, they only meet the minimum requirements to be compliant. If you are over 45, especially a woman you will not be respected, not promoted and not employed for long if you complain to the HR department. Fact: Management is trained not to concern themselves with the personal and professional welfare of their employees. Fact: Employees are treated, by managers, as if they are guilty until proven otherwise. If you have any problems with they way you are treated, forget it your will be fired, even for false reasons. Fact: This used to be a "Family Business", years ago. It has slowly grown into a business with a 90% employee turnover rate and the owner's don't have a clue. Fact: There is very little to no corporate responsibility to the community. Sure they have employees run marathons and give to United Way, but most employees are paid such low wages that they would qualify for United Way Assistance. Fact: The company promotes itself as a "High Class" store. When 98% of their products are purchased from China. You do the math, the markups are incredible. Fact: In my case management made several mistakes, showed poor leadership, blamed their errors on me and you can figure out the rest.
