Cons
Mechanical Brain Washed Management, they have a script for every situation, they will say one thing today and change it up tomorrow and tell you that they never said that. Scheduling system does not allow for life changes or happenings Overboard customer service but not for employees Management allows customers to abuse associates by allowing them to treat them poorly Dept Mgr need training badly, anyone can be one but not a good one. If sales goals are not met there is no good advise just the same ole lip service. "What can we do to help you" but not offer any real help. They expect you to call customers to come in and buy. Over staffing in some departments and not enough in others Tess.....garbage in garbage out. Scheduling systems can be very useful however they require good information and requirements be programed in to the system. It is pretty bad when it takes two or three floor managers to review a weeks schedule. These requirements need to be reviewed at the company/store/department levels. You can not work here full time and work a part time job. Veteran employees are expected to be parent and teach kids that are hired Dress codes are great, but to expect the associates to get on their hands and knees to clean in cabinet, count inventory while in a dress is just dumb. If the housekeeping crew can wear pants to clean why must I clean in a dress/skirt. Safety in the store only lasts for one week a year. Employee safety awareness should be everyday. Firstaid kits are never stocked. Also, they always tell you to walk out with someone at night, but is Tess going to walk out with me at 8:00pm or 8:30pm when I now get off.......NO The list truely goes on and on.................
