Pros

Relatively positive environment, company will match your donations to charity, lots of room for promotion, plenty of available hours, health care, etc.

Cons

You need to work at least 24 hours per week to get health benefits; if you call in sick once and have just 18 hours for that week, you lose your benefits for the entire month. The dress code is tolerable, no visible tattoos, piercings, beards (moustaches okay), unnatural haircolor, or dreadlocks. If you have a happy manager, life is sensible. If your manager hates their life, they have the power to take it out on you and calling corporate will only make your manager get a call asking the situation.

Pros

Excellent, straightforward, comprehensive training program and learning modules to ramp up quickly. Management was reasonable and attentive. They also make sure people don't stay longer or go without a break after the 5-hour mark; this is a California statute with which I was unfamiliar (I was guilty of working long hours without a lunch break in CT due to

Cons

This likely comes with the territory, but a significant percentage of the target customer demographic are of the needlessly disrespectful, uncivil, infantile, entitled, and rich variety. They contrive conflict and attempt to pin it on the workers, or needlessly change their order after it has been obtained. It is child's play. Company policy says to never call the police unless they are a threat to safety, but they absolutely do disturb the peace and ruin the experience for others. It doesn't help that there is an expensive (not necessarily upscale in terms of class) drinking establishment in the same plaza.
