Pros
All pros have been stripped along with owner operator freedom
Cons
Upper management could care less about their drivers, you are replaceable and this is obvious due to their high turnover rate. When you come back from days off it’s an entire new fleet of misfits, they will hire just anyone which contributes to their poor quality control and terrible accident ratings. It’s literally a 3rd world crew, which also reflects on terrible rates. They continuously cut the rates on their owner ops and blame it on the economy’s high inflation when they are just a broker company with little overhead aside from being way over staffed with useless employees. The AI dispatch system is a joke, zero logistics, the ap will deadhead you relentlessly when there are pending loads available in your area. If you address this with management you get shut down and get singled out as a liar, also the system favors certain trucks, it’s obvious the same trucks will continuously run while your parked watching. VORTO has ruined the original 5F brand and has had to switch over to their LoHi branch name. Matter of time before they ruin that name too. Their insurance policies are a joke and always change I’m assuming from law suits and poor management. You will be required to strenuous audits which are unreasonable considering they can just run your DOT number with the FMCSA and see that you are compliant with the federal governments standards. The CEO’s have made many broken promises, they will never fix the outstanding issues with this company as a whole. Its outfits like this that are ruining the trucking industry.
