Furthermore, professional merit is ignored; higher levels of education, years of experience, and employee longevity mean absolutely nothing. Management relies heavily on deflection and stalling tactics to delay growth opportunities. It is an exhausting environment that penalizes hard work and actively blocks career advancement.
