Pros
Their is no reason to work for this company
Cons
I read tall of these reviews before I started with Wand, and took them with a grain of salt; thinking they were bitter ex employees who didn't "make it". I was wrong. This is a really sad place to be...all the employees complain. the culture is poor and they MICRO MANAGE to the nth degree. What you read in other posts is correct; salaried employees are required to clock in and out and they are critized for not working more than 45 hours a week. In the time I was there (and just recently moved on to another opportunity) they had a ton of employee turnover...a ton. Also, they hired 2 gentleman to run departments who lasted anywhere between 3 days and 3 weeks. Their best salesman left in 2011, they have no marketing and really no strategic direction beyond selling to their biggest client (Wendy's). When you apply for a job they ask you for a salary requirement before they will interview you because the pay is not up to job title/responsibility. As an example, they are willing to pay around $40,000 for a marketing manager...that job is $80,000+ anywhere else. When they find someone that will accept the low pay, they are typically not skilled or just out of school and cannot handle the responsibility....then they are critical of the employee in the position for not doing the job. I know you want a job.......it's tough out there. This is not a company that will give you what you deserve. The culture is horrible and the company is not in good health. Don't apply, don't interview, don't give this company your best effort. They won't repay you with anything but disrespect.
