Pros

Free snacks. Nice office location in downtown Austin with a great view of the city.

Cons

News flash for the exec team: if you were really as smart as you think you are, you wouldn't be building blogging software! How hard was that one to dream up? We're changing the world!!! (LOL) Uninteresting products for people writing web content that nobody will read. Strategy changes on a monthly basis. And no, that is not what a pivot is!

Pros

Lots of support from management. I always felt like I was heard. Plenty of support from my teammates. The CEO is an amazing person.

Cons

Customers only reach out because there are issues with their sites; causing them to be upset most of the time. Tough job if you are not used to remote work.

Pros

Remote. Great people. Decent benefits. Nice work/life balance.

Cons

Subpar pay. Lack of career growth and stability. Upper management and leadership are heavily disconnected from the core product. They want to "AI" their core platform just because everybody else is doing it but they have no clear direction / solution that makes sense. They sign contracts for services that they don't vet fully and cause headaches for tech support. They mask "reorgs" with surprise layoffs.
