Pros

The bank truly cares about its employees. Wages, compensation, and time off are adequate, but the sense of being part of a team is where the bank shines. Also, having worked at another bank and feeling the stress of high pressure sales goals everyday, I now love coming to work everyday.

Cons

No personal time is given. I have over 600 hours of sick time available (carried over from my previous bank that was acquired by WaFed), but if I need to take a personal day to help my kids with something, I am not allowed to take a sick/personal day. I am required to use vacation time.

Thank you for your headline, I feel the same way. You are right about the PTO, it is something many others are offering and it puts us at a competitive disadvantage. We will look further into it

Pros

Primarily remote work. Decent PTO after the 4th year.

Cons

Limited staffing and limiting overtime opportunities until the bitter end of potentially missing deadlines, which you are guilted into working. 2% "raise" every January and ZERO merit raises. Gutted profit sharing and profitability bonuses over time. Most recent bonus, which is tied to net profit after dividends, was given a result when the scale was never published. All previous bonuses had a floor-to-ceiling profit scale that showed the targets months in advance of the end of the bonus period.
