Pros

A paycheck. If you can survive this is great experience that will look great on your resume.

Cons

Having to go back to the restaurant on Friday, Saturday, and the night before 2 days off. The pay starts off at $10.77 for all Managers in Training. Management is very mean spirited. They want you to work like a slave for $10.77 ( with over time you will get the $30,000 plus a year). You are in charge of $6000 or more worth of inventor. If ANYTHNG comes up missing it comes out of YOUR paycheck. To sum it up. Waffle House wants you to throw the football and catch it to... If you are capable of doing this then this is the company for you... GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros

Solid pay for the industry Okay benefits Employee stock purchase plan Pretty consistent hours The actual work is difficult, but fun after you get good at it. Upward momentum is difficult, but the pay scales very well if you work your way up into management. Prepare for intense work if you do though.

Cons

They hire everyone, and your team will make or break your experience. Genuine safety concerns on 3rd shift. You need to be prepared for people to act out. Senior management only have operation management skills. They are not good "people" managers at all. Only "number" managers.
