Pros

1. Work-life balance definitely a plus. 2. Easy to be seen as a rock-star with very little effort or if you just don't care. Think Peter Gibbons in Office Space.

Cons

1. Benefits are horrible. 2. Matching 401k is low, and doesn't kick in until you've put in a year of service. 3. Culture is definitely geared towards brick-and-mortar stores and not the online space. 4. Walgreens IT is running the show, but they don't have a clue. 5. Unilateral decisions are made across the board without input from people who actually understand issues or have insight to potential issues that could happen. 6. Too many self-declared 'experts' who think they have all the answers, but in reality... 7. Move to PTO time off has short-changed employees. 8. Paraphrasing a quote from a development director: "Building software to 'change the world' is a very Northwest attitude. In the Midwest [Walgreens headquarters] it's about keeping the status quo."

Pros

The management is accommodating and doesn't ask of to much.

Cons

At one point the heat was out during the winter, but i'll say that this was only for about a week.

Pros

The starting pay rate is better than compared to the other competitive. There is a good friendly culture inside the company, but I realize this truly depends on where you work.

Cons

The hourly rate increases each year by very small amount, like 20 cents. No matter how good your pharmacist/manager have rated your annual performance. The critics you also input won’t seem to matter in the long run.
