Very poor management - Modular Team Walmart Employee Review

Pros

If I was actually given the hours according to my job description, I would have Friday and Saturdays off, since they are non-modular days.

Cons

I am being utilized as a stocker and fall-back guy, I usually end up being chewed out for something totally out of my control. I am not allowed to talk to department managers, which is a key part of the position. Poor management at an associate manager level, I usually have to complete everyone else's tasks, instead of performing my job description. The managers refuse to use Myguide (which is in place to prove your workload) refusal to do what is asked will result in insubordination and termination, regardless of if they use it or not.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
