Other 20% are Chinese. 80-90% of this group are on h1b visas and could get shipped back to their home country if they get laid off. Work life balance is terrible if your team lacks strong talent. Business doesn’t care how much they grind people. Have seen engineers get hospitalized from work stress. If you find a good team with strong talent , work life balance can be good. Without consistent standards amongst ways of working amongst teams it’s the Wild West. Scrum agile expertise is lacking, it’s pretend scrumptious.
