      Pros

      I would have to say one of my pros is a successful event. I do not mean as in we had no issues but only minor ones that were able to be fixed swiftly. What event does it have its minor flaws? I do honestly enjoy the work that I accomplish within the company. Seeing a venue come from an obscure place to one that any planner, operations manager or coordinator wants to be at is a great achievement. The coworkers I have, have made my time with Walters amazing. The bonds we have forged have definitely been made forever.

      Cons

      Some of my cons in working with the company is we have no structure is places that need structure. It feels as though we have to many managers trying to take charge and it confuses many of us. We also have negativity within the departments due to leadership. It feels as though there is a divide between departments or wedges are trying to be driven. This does not make for a healthy work environment let alone make any of us want to voice in concerns we are having; as for it will get turned into a he said/she said situation that we were not hoping to be the outcome. The lack of compensation for the position that is being held!

      Pros

      Unlimited PTO and flexible schedule (usually). Working in the wedding industry was rewarding.

      Cons

      Communication and transparency were inconsistent. Expectations often changed quickly, making it difficult to prioritize and understand long-term career growth opportunities. Employment was unexpectedly terminated, I was not placed on a PIP nor was I informed of any performance concerns that would have indicated my position was at risk. No salary adjustments for 1.5 years while being told to not expect any for 2026... yet there were funds for new hires, new venues, baseball games, etc...
