Pros

This office has many different groups working together, the comradery within groups is like a family, it has been very enjoyable to grow closer to co-workers the longer I have been there. The company offers so many opportunities to get involved in the local communities, fundraising for charities and efforts. From United Way, to Pediatric Cancer Research to helping build homes in Mexico, the companies outstretch within the community does not go unnoticed. The people here are kind and welcoming, you get all the training you need for what you are doing, there are always people to reference when you have questions. The company culture is none like I have ever experienced it, the groups each have their own outings (quarterly), they celebrate work milestones, and home life milestones (marriages, children, etc.), and go out of their way to make the office of over 150 people feel like one giant family. There are opportunities around every corner to learn more information, whether it is through the mentor system they have in place, or through Lunch and Learn/ Education Programs. The company even has their own continuous improvement program where everyone's thoughts and opinions are heard about every aspect of workflow in the company. They offer competitive benefits that are continuously updated to always stay on top of what their employees are offered.

Cons

The work-life balance can be difficult, with the workload and turnaround my specific group experiences, there has been countless 12+ hr work days. Because I am in a Resource Group for other offices within the company, we get quite a few projects, and there's no shortage of work. Because of this ample work, the turnaround on the projects can be pretty tight. Normally this isn't an issue, but when you have quite a few projects on your plate it can be a bit overwhelming to get them all coordinated properly to the quality you would like. I have taken on more and more responsibilities since I have been with the company (as is normal) but with all of these responsibilities, I do not necessary think the financial compensation some of us get reflect the great amount work we put in for the company.
