Was a great place to work - Field Representative Warner Music Group Employee Review

Pros

Working with artists, working with managers, working with record store and radio station personnel was always a lot of fun. Traveling around your territory, going to concerts all the time, and watching an emerging artist become a household name were rewards for working for a great company. For many years, it was like a family - hanging out with your peers, going to annual conventions, and having meals together all of the time.

Cons

In recent years, as the company was taken over by outsiders, it lost the family atmosphere and became much less fun. Cutbacks, doubling and tripling of duties, and loss of market share made it a much more stressful place to work. Opportunities for advancement have become slim to none.
