Pros

Ok place to learn but don't expect any sort of career path, this place is an absolute dead end.

Cons

No training. You'll be on your own to figure it out. Minimal benefits & pay. Nothing like working for a billionaire that has bottom of the barrel insurance and you'll be lucky to get any raise at all. If so, it will be well below what inflation is so you'll lose money every year here. Full department of accountants to help with creative tax breaks but no room for raises. That money will need to be spent on the owners 3rd yacht. Management, directors and executives have zero skills to do the job, but are in their position because of who they can grovel to the best or who's their family is. Managers have no idea what they are doing and need to ask for reports at the end of the week because they don't know a thing about what their direct reports are doing. Directors do nothing but make wrong decision after wrong decision because they also have no idea and are extremely unqualified. Execs can't open a PDF but are pros at acting busy is the norm. Lots of lazy people expecting you to hand hold do their job for them. There are only a few people here that seem to know what they are doing. Seems like the majority of good people are gone. Any freedoms such as flexibility and working from home has been ripped away with no reasoning. Fake praise then destruction of benefits in the same sentence. Two faced HR reps are very unprofessional the second you are out of the room.

Pros

Pucker up to the right people and you'll be home free to do whatever you want with no repercussions whatsoever.

Cons

You'll have to be a complete yes man to some of the most clueless people in the organization. Inexperience, bad practices, and wrong decisions will be implemented and absolutely no one will want to change course to the right path. Lots of lazy people that just want to maintain and collect a check. Leadership, directors, and managers seem to be promoted into somewhere they have zero idea how to the job. IT is a revolving door that can't seem to retain or hire decent people. Infrastructure seems to really suffer due to mismanagement. Terrible HR and onboarding. HR doesn't really seem to be knowledgeable about most things. Their answers were completely wrong and there is no employee handbook because things change by the day. Benefits are some of the worst I've seen in a business. You'll be paying for everything. You will have zero sick time and be expected to take your scarcely earned PTO as sick time. Lack of flexibility has become micromanagement. Expect unqualified people to get reports on your badging in and out of the office. Work from home is severely restricted and inflexible. No raises. Minimum cost of living adjustments. No opportunity for advancing in the company. Awful facilities. Some bathrooms literally don't have hot water. Every time it rains, somewhere floods and the building will need remediation while the employees are expected to just breath in the mildew and mold. No investment in the team. No team building, no training, and you'll be assigned projects that have nothing to do with your job.
