It's slipped a bit, but it's still a good place. - Consulting Group Wasserman Employee Review

Pros

Entertaining, vibrant industry makes each day busy and challenging in a positive way. There are so many ways to learn and gain experience. The people are very smart, and diversity (both skill, education and people) is very apparent. They seek out people that are self starters, leaders and passionate. The client roster is impressive, and you work on some highly visible projects. It doesn't hurt that the sports industry will make you the envy of your friends. CEO is willing to spend money to acquire the right people, or business units.

Cons

The "cool factor" of the job (i.e., sports, big events) is that travel is insane, and the work demands a huge amount of hours. Work-life balance suffers. The bigger issue is the shift in focus by leadership from exemplary client service to hard-driving revenue generation. Intra-departmental politicking notably increased during my last months (and anecdotally has gotten worse, from former colleagues reports). Vast majority of senior management is young, so advancement is slow.

Pros

Enjoyable work day experience with friendly coworkers and a unique office. Everyone there was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Cons

At the time, many teams were spread out across the country or worked from home, so it was hard to get immediate work done

Pros

Great networking. Fun culture. Good work/life balance. Really good for entry level experience.

Cons

Hard to move upward. They prefer hiring young/cheap work and are willing to let good talent go rather than reward with promotion.
